[Veterinary Drug Name]
Generic Name: Duck Viral Hepatitis Attenuated Vaccine, Live(Strain CH60)
Trade Name: VAvi DHV
[Composition] Each dose of the vaccine contains at least 104.0 ELD50 of attenuated duck viral hepatitis virus (serotype I, strain CH60).
[Character] Light red, spongy, loose clumps that easily detach from the vial wall and dissolve quickly after adding diluent.
[Function and Purpose] To prevent duck viral hepatitis caused by serotype I duck hepatitis virus. Immunizing chicks within 1 week of age via injection can induce partial immunity in 3-5 days and good immunity in 7 days, with an immune period of more than 1 month (for chicks with maternal antibodies, the optimal immunization time is 1 day old). Immunizing adult breeding ducks via injection before egg laying can provide their offspring chicks with maternal antibody protection against duck viral hepatitis. The offspring chicks can obtain good passive immune protection 14 days after the injection. The immune period for adult breeding ducks is 6 months.
[Administration and Dosage]
Dilute with physiological saline according to the number of doses indicated on the bottle label.
① For ducklings: For 1-7 day-old ducks, inject 0.25ml (1 dose) intramuscularly into the leg muscle (for ducklings with maternal antibodies, the optimal immunization time is 1 day old).
