[Composition]
Contains inactivated rabies virus strain V-SAD, with a pre-inactivation viral titer of 108.2 FFU/ml.
[Character] Pale pink liquid, a readily resuspendable precipitate may form upon standing.
[Function and Purpose] For the prevention of rabies in dogs and cats. The duration of immunity is 12 months.
[Administration and Dosage]
Administer by intramuscular injection in the leg. For dogs and cats over 3 months of age, administer 1 ml per animal (containing 1 dose).
Blood samples should be collected 30-60 days after vaccination to test for rabies virus antibody. If the antibody titer is below 0.5 IU/ml, a booster vaccination should be administered promptly, followed by annual booster vaccinations every 12 months thereafter.
[Precautions]
1.This vaccine is only for use in healthy dogs and cats.
2.Shake well before use and allow the vaccine to equilibrate to room temperature (15–25℃).
3.The vaccine must be used immediately after vial opening.
4.Do not use if the vaccine vial is cracked, the label is illegible, the liquid is turbid, or foreign matter is present.
5.If vaccinating pregnant dogs and cats, appropriate protective measures should be taken to avoid mechanical abortion.
6.Dispose of used vaccine vials, equipment, and any remaining diluted vaccine by proper disinfection.
