Generic Name: Classical Swine Fever Vaccine, Live (Tissue Culture Origin)
Trade Name: VPor SF
[Composition] This product contains rabbit-adapted weak strain of classical swine fever (CVCC AV1412). It contains a minimum of 750 rabbit infections per dose.
[Character] Sponge like loose clumps that easily detach from the vial wall, dissolve quickly after adding diluent.
[Indications] Used to prevent swine fever. Immune function is developed 4 days after vaccination.
The immune period for piglets without maternal antibodies after weaning is 12 months.
[Administration and Dosage]
Muscle or subcutaneous injection.
According to the dosage indicated on the vial label, dilute with physiological saline to 1 head/ml, with 1.0 ml per head.
In areas where there is no outbreak of classical swine fever, piglets without maternal antibodies after weaning can be vaccinated once. When there is an epidemic, piglets can be vaccinated once at the age of 21 to 30 days and once at around 65 days.
Before weaning, piglets can be vaccinated with 4 doses of vaccine to prevent interference from maternal antibodies that may lead to a decrease in immune response.
[Precautions]
(1) It should be transported under refrigerated conditions below 8℃.
(2) When the user unit receives the vaccine in refrigerated package, if the storage environment exceeds 8℃ but is below 25℃, the vaccine shall be used up within 10 days from the time of receiving the vaccine.
(3) Local disinfection should be carried out during vaccination.
(4) Careful observation should be made after inoculation. If an allergic reaction occurs, it should be treated with epinephrine injection promptly.
(5) After dilution, use up within 6 hours if the temperature is below 15℃. If the temperature is between 15 and 27℃, the vaccine should be used up within 3 hours.
(6) Used vaccine vials, instruments and unused vaccine should be disposed of harmlessly.
