Trade Name: VPor PCV2

[Composition] Before inactivation, each milliliter contains no less than 10^5.5 TCID₅₀ of Porcine Circovirus Type 2 LG strain.

[Character] Pinkish-white emulsion.

[Function and Purpose] Used to prevent diseases caused by porcine circovirus type 2 infection and is suitable for piglets over 3 weeks old and adult pigs.

[Administration and Dosage]

Administer via intramuscular injection in the neck.

Newborn piglets: First immunization at 3–4 weeks of age, followed by a booster immunization 3 weeks apart, 1ml per head.

Replacement gilts: 2 doses of primary immunization before mating (3 weeks apart), plus a booster immunization 1 month before farrowing, 2ml per head.

Multiparous sows with fetus: administer once 1 month before farrowing, 2ml per head.

Other adult pigs: Routine common immunization, once every 6 months, 2ml per head.

[Precautions]

1. This product is for use only in healthy pig herds.

2. Do not vaccinate pigs that are weak, have abnormal body temperature, or lack appetite.

3. The vaccine should be transported and stored under refrigeration, never frozen. If the emulsion breaks or the vaccine changes color, it should be discarded.

4. Before use, allow the vaccine to return to room temperature and shake well. Strictly disinfect equipment, and use the vaccine on the same day after opening.

5. After vaccination, pigs may experience a temporary rise in body temperature and reduced appetite, which generally recovers within 2 days.

6. If individual pigs show allergic reactions, adrenaline can be used for treatment.

7. Remaining vaccine and empty bottles should not be discarded casually. They must be discarded only after being heated or disinfected and sterilized.
