Generic Name: Antibodies Extracted from Chicken Egg-Yolk against Infectious Bursal Disease
Trade Name: VAvi IgY IBD
[Composition] The product contains egg yolk antibodies against the infectious bursal disease virus, with an agar diffusion antibody titer of ≥1:32.
[Character] Light brownish or pale yellow transparent liquid. A small amount of white precipitate may form at the bottom of the bottle after long-term storage. The pH value should be 6.8-7.2.
[Function and Purpose] For emergency treatment and emergency prevention of early and mid-term infections of chicken infectious bursal disease.
[Administration and Dosage]
Subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intraperitoneal injection is acceptable.
Therapeutic dosage: 2 ml for chickens under 35 days of age; 3 ml for those over 35 days of age.
Emergency prevention dosage: 1 ml for chickens under 25 days of age; 1.5 ml for those aged 25-35 days; 2 ml for those aged 35-45 days; 2.5-4 ml for those over 45 days of age. Repeat injection 2-3 times if necessary.
[Precautions]
(1) The passive immunity protection period of this product after each injection is 5-7 days.
(2) This product is ineffective when taken orally.
(3) This product can be applied continuously for 2-3 times.
(4) This product may contain antibodies against various pathogens other than infectious bursal disease pathogens. It is not advisable to vaccinate with live vaccines such as infectious bursal disease, Newcastle disease, or infectious bronchitis vaccines within 5 days after use.
(5) This product can be mixed and injected with kanamycin or gentamicin.
(6) A small amount of flocculent precipitate may form at the bottom of the bottle after long-term storage of this product, which has no impact on its efficacy.
