[Composition]
This product contains avian pox virus quail-adapted attenuated strain(CVCC AV1003). Virus titer ≥103.0 EID50 per dose.
[Character] Spongy loose mass, which detaches easily from the vial wall and dissolves rapidly after adding diluent.
[Function and Purpose]
For the prevention of avian pox in chickens. Immunity period: 5 months for adult chickens, 2 months for chicks.
[Administration and Dosage]
Administer by subcutaneous wing-web stab in the avascular area of the inner wing. Dilute the vaccine with sterile saline according to the labeled dose. Dip the fowl pox vaccination needle into the diluted vaccine: Chicks aged 20–30 days: 1 stab. Chickens over 30 days old: 2 stabs. Chicks aged 6–20 days: 1 stab using vaccine that has been further diluted by a factor of two.
Within 3–4 days post-vaccination, mild redness, swelling, and scabbing will appear at the stab site; scabs will fall off within 14–21 days.
For reserve breeder chickens, revaccinate once 60 days after the initial chick vaccination.
[Precautions]
1. Store diluted vaccine in a cool, dark place and use within 4 hours.
2. Disinfect the stab site before vaccination.
3. Dispose of used vials, tools, and unused vaccine in a harmless manner.
4. Chickens should be inspected individually 7 days after stab inoculation. Those showing no reaction at the inoculation site shall be re-inoculated.
