Generic Name: Infectious Bronchitis Vaccine, Live (Strain H120)
Trade Name: VAvi IB1
[Composition] This product contains the infectious bronchitis virus H120 strain (CVCC AV1514) in chickens. The virus content per dose is not less than 103.5EID50.
[Character] It is a spongy, loose mass that easily detaches from the vial wall and dissolves quickly after adding the diluent.
[Function and Purpose] It is used for the prevention of infectious bronchitis in chickens. Immunity develops 5 - 8 days after vaccination, and the immunity period is 2 months.
[Administration and Dosage]
Administer by intranasal drop or drinking-water vaccination. It is used for the primary vaccination of newly-hatched chicks and can be used in chickens of different breeds. A booster vaccination with the H52 vaccine is required at 1 - 2 months of age. Dilute the vaccine with normal saline, water for injection, or cold boiled-water with good water quality according to the number of doses indicated on the label.
Intranasal Drop Vaccination: Dilute the vaccine according to the number of doses indicated on the label. Use a dropper to draw the vaccine and administer 1 drop (approximately 0.03 ml) per chick.
Drinking-Water Vaccination: Double the dosage. The amount of drinking water depends on the age of the chickens. Generally, it is 5.0 - 10 ml for 5 - 10 day-old chicks.
[Precautions]
1. After dilution, store the vaccine in a cool and dark place and use it up within 4 hours.
2. Do not use metal containers for drinking-water vaccination. Stop supplying water 2 - 4 hours before vaccination.
3. Dispose of used vaccine vials, instruments, and unused vaccine in a harmless manner.
