Generic Name: Combined Newcastle Disease and Infectious Bursal Disease Vaccine, Inactivated (Strain La Sota + Strain BJQ902)
Trade Name: VAvi NIbd
[Composition] This product contains inactivated Newcastle disease virus (La Sota strain, CVCC AV1615) and inactivated Infectious bursal disease virus (BJQ902 strain).
[Character] Uniform emulsion.
[Function and Purpose] For the prevention of Newcastle disease (ND) and Infectious bursal disease (IBD) in chickens.
Duration of Immunity: Chicks: 3 months (for both ND and IBD). Adult Chickens: Newcastle disease: 12 months. Infectious bursal disease: 6 months.
[Administration and Dosage]
Subcutaneous injection in the neck. Chickens within 60 days of age: 0.5 ml per chicken. Breeder chickens prior to onset of lay: 1.0 ml per chicken.
Recommended Vaccination Program:
1. Chicks: Typically used for the second immunization at 20 days of age (can also be used for primary immunization at around 10 days of age), 0.5 ml per chicken. Simultaneously, administer Newcastle disease live vaccine (La Sota strain)(Primary immunization with La Sota or Clone 30 strain should be given around 10 days of age) via intranasal/ocular drop. Meanwhile, administer Infectious bursal disease live vaccine via drinking water.
2. Breeder Chickens: At approximately 4 months of age (replacement), 1.0 ml per chicken. Simultaneously, administer Newcastle disease live vaccine (La Sota strain) via spray. At approximately 6 months after onset of lay, 1.0 ml per chicken.
[Precautions]
1. Do not freeze. Vaccines that have been frozen are strictly prohibited from use.
2. For use in healthy chickens only.
3. Before use, allow the vaccine to reach room temperature and shake well to ensure homogeneity.
4. Chicks should be strictly isolated before and after vaccination. Reduce farming density and minimize fecal contamination of drinking water and feed.
5. Use the entire contents of the bottle on the day of opening.
6. Perform local disinfection at the injection site.
7. Used bottles, equipment, and any unused vaccine must be disposed of by appropriate, harmless methods.
8. For broiler chickens: Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter. For other chickens: Do not vaccinate within 42 days prior to slaughter.
