As a key player in global animal health, we at Vland Animal Health are always seeking opportunities to connect with emerging markets and align our innovations with regional needs. This May, our International Trade Division had the privilege of participating in two pivotal industry events in Brazil: the FENAGRA Expo (May 13–15, São Paulo) and the SINSUI 2025 International Pig Farming Symposium. These events not only deepened our understanding of Latin America’s dynamic animal health sector but also reinforced our commitment to bringing tailored solutions to this thriving market.

FENAGRA 2025: A Gateway to Latin America’s Feed & Food Industry
FENAGRA, known as one of the most influential trade shows for animal nutrition and feed processing in Latin America, brought together over 190 exhibitors and 8,000 industry professionals this year. As the only Chinese vaccine company among more than 30 Chinese participants (mostly equipment and feed additive manufacturers), we saw this as a unique chance to showcase our expertise in animal health and differentiate our offerings in a competitive landscape.
Brazil’s market potential is undeniable: with a population of 210 million, 1.5 billion poultry, 44.4 million pigs, and 234 million cattle, it ranks as the world’s third-largest poultry producer and the top beef exporter. Its robust disease control system—having eradicated avian influenza (including H9) in poultry, foot-and-mouth disease in ruminants (2024), and several swine diseases like African swine fever—also underscores a demand for high-quality, reliable health solutions.
At our booth, we highlighted our portfolio of vaccines and feed additives designed to support sustainable livestock production. Discussions with visitors centered on addressing local challenges: optimizing feed efficiency for large-scale poultry farms, ensuring compliance with export standards (critical for Brazil’s meat trade), and adapting to the region’s focus on reducing antimicrobial use. The enthusiasm for our science-backed, cost-effective solutions—especially from mid-sized producers and distributors—reinforced our belief in Brazil’s role as a launchpad for Latin American expansion.
SINSUI 2025: Diving Deep into Pig Farming Innovations
Following FENAGRA, we joined SINSUI 2025, a leading symposium for pig farming professionals, which drew 521 on-site attendees and 398 remote participants. With 13 exhibitors spanning animal health, feed additives, and breeding technologies, the event focused on cutting-edge trends in swine production—from biosecurity to precision nutrition.
Brazil’s swine industry, boasting 44.4 million pigs, has made significant strides in disease control, eliminating threats like PRRS and CSF. This progress has created a market hungry for next-generation solutions: autogenous vaccines (customized for specific farms), integrated lab testing services, and technologies to enhance herd health monitoring.
Our team engaged in fruitful dialogues with local and international partners, sharing insights on our cell-based vaccine production technologies and biosecurity protocols tailored to dense swine operations. We were particularly encouraged by the interest in our R&D, including advancements in non-invasive vaccine delivery and probiotics that support gut health in young pigs. These conversations highlighted a clear need for collaborative innovation—something we’re eager to pursue through partnerships with local research institutions and industry leaders.
Looking Ahead
These exhibitions are just the start. We’re excited to deepen our presence in Brazil, leveraging the relationships built at FENAGRA and SINSUI to introduce more tailored solutions. Whether it’s supporting poultry exporters with robust vaccine programs or empowering swine producers with innovative health management tools, Vland Animal Health is committed to being a trusted partner in Latin America’s animal health journey.
Stay tuned for updates as we expand our footprint—together, we’re building a healthier, more sustainable future for animals and producers alike.
